This church is part of the Castle complex, adjoining the tower/bell tower.

The 18th-century Baroque temple is dedicated to the Asunción de la Virgen. Its style is rather singular however, given its Romanesque design of only one nave, abundant gilded decorations and interesting paintings. It has a Neo-Classical façade.
