Lavadero de la Luz
C/ Progreso, 34.
This building, built for people to wash there, is located on the bank of the main canal that surrounds the town. Its roof was recently restored. Further downstream is the los enfermos or the washing area for ill people. It is the last one in the village and is where ill people would wash in order to avoid epidemics and infections in the village. The water was then poured straight into the river.
