The chapel was built in the 18th century and currently only its exterior walls remain between agricultural terraces and abundant vegetation that even invades it, with some vestiges of other elements.

Formerly, pilgrimage was held on the day of the San Miguel festivity, on 29 September. Forgotten for a long time, like the chapel , at present this tradition integrated in the Moors and Christians festivities is being recovered.
