San Roque and San Joaquín

The town’s street parties held in honour of these saints, are famous in the region. The celebrations take place from the end of July to the beginning of September, and there is great deal of competitive sentiment as participants compete amongst themselves during the ‘bous de carrer’, or bull runs.

These street parties are famed for their bullfighting competitions that take place in July and August.
