The town’s patron saint celebrations are held between September and October in honour of Saint Michael the Archangel and the Virgin of Gracia. Religious ceremonies are held on 29 and 30 September, and on 1 October in honour of these saints. A week of bullfights commences on the 1st of October, and includes events such as toros embolados (bulls with torches), bull running, and beef cattle exhibition in the town’s streets.
