Nules dedicates the second Sunday of October to their honourable Saint. As it is very close to two festivities such as 9 October (day of the Valencian Community) and 12 October (Day of the Hispanicity) there is always this attempt of celebrating these festivals the same days as these festivities throughout the first fortnight. Among the events that stand out we have: the Jocs Florals literary contest, the bull-fighting shows, the tapa and wine tavern, the sports activities, the tribute to the statue of the King Jaume I the conqueror or the commemorative parade of 9 October.
