San Miguel is the saint of our town and we celebrate this festival in honour of our saint at two different points of the year. The first of these, takes place the first weekend of May (7 May) while the second is celebrated on the last weekend of September. The San Miguel Festival on 7 May is considered a religious festival in which a religious pilgrimage is held to the Traiguera fountain of health. Both celebrations are based on bull-fighting festivals and popular dinners.
