Chóvar Castle and Tower

Chóvar

At the highest part of the town, continuing along the Calvary, you can reach the remains of a castle that the Muslims built as a watchtower.

Chovar was founded by the Moriscos and is very directly related to the Azuébar Castle. Chovar was most likely a series of defence and watch towers belonging to the castle.

Only the remains of the towers are left.
