The people undertake a pilgrimage from Portell to Les Albaredes on 25 April every year. It starts with the ringing of bells, and the pilgrims make the journey holding banners and stands for religious figures. Next, Holy Mass is celebrated in the Ermita de Sant Marc. During the journey, the pilgrims stop for lunch by the Vinaixa hut, and regroup in the ‘Moli Piquer’. Along the route, various spots of symbolic importance for the village are blessed, and in Creu del Rollet, the traditional rollo, a type of pastry is distributed.
