Castellón de la Plana – Second Fortnight in November

MARTE is the Contemporary Art Festival of Castellón, of the Mediterranean, a unique opportunity to see the newest, most novel current art all at the same time and place. It is sea, it is art (and the place is a little bit out of this world).

MARTE is open to both national and international artists and aims to promote artists and sell contemporary artwork and editions. The festival intends on making contemporary art stand up to the public and it wants to sow the seeds for a new attitude which can inspire a new way of seeing life and society.
