The weekend closest to September 21st, the festivity in honour of San Mateo, patron saint of the town, is held, in which all the people and visitors taste the typical “olla de San Mateo” (Saint Matthew’s Pot) and the popular “Pedos de Fraile” (Friar’s Farts).
