Patron Saint Celebrations

The Festival of Most Holy Christ’s Agony. This takes place during the first week of August. A commission formed by people from the village is in charge of ensuring the celebrations run smoothly, although when there is no commission the village council takes charge of the running of the festival. Highlights include a children’s park, processions, minstrels, dances, masquerade balls, heifer events and toros embolados, which is where bulls with torches chase people.
